When the opportunity arose to open another “Mavericks” style bar and restaurant the overall recipe for the venue was fairly simple.

Provide a first class modern facility in a great location that is comfortable and user friendly for our clientele, typically those with a penchant for life’s little luxuries and a glass of chardy or cold beer.

Provide a sports bar area to cater for the enthusiast, a dedicated dining area with a fresh and contempory menu, a cocktail list to excite and a stage for live local musicians Friday and Saturday nights. Engage a team of dedicated staff that can execute and uphold the highest of professional standards.

We have been able to achieve this with our Nelson Bay Mavericks and firmly believe that you our customers will agree this new exciting venue has retained the standard that we work so hard to set.
